CyMeetRealty (CYMEETREALTY, LLC) is a licensed real estate business in Oregon. We provide real estate brokerage and property management services in the Portland metro area. This policy explains what information we collect through cymeetrealty.com and our messaging channels, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

  • Contact information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method and times.
  • Your inquiry: your message and details about a property, such as its address, city, type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, current rent, and whether it is currently managed or rented.
  • Repair requests: the property and unit, a description of the problem, entry preferences, whether pets are present, and photos you upload.
  • Consent records: the exact consent text you saw, its version and language, the time, your IP address, browser information, and the page where you gave consent.
  • Website information: pages you visit, how you arrived at our site (for example, search or ad campaign tags), and basic device and browser information. We use cookies or similar technology to remember your first visit and language.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or income documents on this website. If you apply to rent a home we manage, screening information is collected by our screening or property management software provider under its own terms. We do not collect information about family status, age, national origin, religion, disability, race, or other protected characteristics through our forms.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule showings, and coordinate repair requests.
  • To provide property management and brokerage services you ask for, including owner reports and service updates.
  • To keep records required by Oregon real estate law and to protect against fraud and misuse.
  • To understand which pages and channels help people find us, so we can improve our website.

We use software tools, including AI-based tools, to help organize inquiries and prepare responses. A licensed person at CyMeetRealty makes decisions about contracts, money, and rental applications.

4. How we share information

Except as described in Section 8 for text messaging, we share information only as needed to provide our services:

  • With service providers that work for us, such as website hosting, our messaging platform, email, scheduling, and property management software. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Repair vendors receive the property address, the description of the problem, and the approved entry time. They contact residents only through CyMeetRealty; we do not give vendors your mobile phone number.
  • With the property owner or tenant involved in the same rental or repair, when needed to complete your request. We do not give them your mobile phone number.
  • When required by law, court order, or a request from a government agency such as the Oregon Real Estate Agency, or to protect rights and safety.
  • In connection with a sale or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry, consent, and transaction records for at least six years, or longer if Oregon law requires. We then delete or de-identify them.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices

  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting mchang@cymeetrealty.com. We may keep records that the law requires us to keep.
  • You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
  • You can set your browser to refuse cookies. Some features may not work without them.

8. Text messaging and mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with service providers that help us deliver messages to you, such as our messaging platform, and only for that purpose. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

9. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
