Fire, smoke, or anyone in danger: call 911 first.
Smell gas? Leave now. Don't use switches or phones inside. From outside, call NW Natural 800-882-3377 or 911.
If you smell gas, leave right away, even if the smell is mild. Don't use a light switch, phone, or any other electrical or battery-powered device, don't start a car, and don't use any flame. Once you're outside and can no longer smell gas, call NW Natural at 800-882-3377 or 911. They answer 24 hours a day.
For these, don’t send a repair request. Call first.
Urgent repair, but no one is in danger?
Water leak: if you can do it safely, turn off the main water shutoff valve or the valve under the fixture.
For a water leak, no heat, or another repair that can’t wait, call us at (503) 354-4541, or send a repair request and mark it urgent. Calling is the fastest way to reach us.
